Welcome Home

Hello Blog Reader,

Welcome to my page!

It's about time that I enter the 21st century and join the blogosphere (sp?), after being an avid facebooker and craigslister. I use the former to catch up on chisme and keep in touch with old friends, and the latter to make new ones. ;) Indeed, I have found great gems online, such as a $300/month Williamsburg Brooklyn, NY apartment three summers ago (quite a steal), a nice vintage mountain bike that is the most efficient set of wheels one could procure in DC, and even a few Sat night dates on the CL personals. Haha. Shameless, I know. But anyway, I love connecting with people, products, information on the web.

Also, I've really been meaning to keep a journal up, and have been carrying around a moleskin in my suitcase, but I never have the discipline to open it, my writing is much too illegible, and honestly, I already have overstuffed, overweight luggage such that I usually need to check a bag for my flights (such a Junior Varsity travel move). So hopefully this blog will conveniently, paperlessly enable me to capture more of my real-time stream of conscious thinking and reflections on life, and the meaning thereof.

So, honestly, in the spirit of being an only child, I'm mainly doing the blog for myself, but hope that cherished friends and family will read it too, so they know I'm still alive--and that I haven't suffered the major coronary attack that I so fear (given my chest pains persisting for over a year. No joke--another topic to blog about later).

Anyway, ground rules for reading my blog:

1. Don't judge. I work in a relatively traditional, conservative workplace where I have to be 'buttoned-up' 24-7, dot every I and cross every T. Well this is my personal space, so sometimes I wont practice good grammar, won't be concise, or even always be rational or data-driven for that matter. So no rules.

2. Don't blackmail. Enough said.

3. I really dont have a third point, but consultants always need to have three points for some reason. So this is a placeholder until I can think of another rule.

Anyway, hope you enjoy the blog, and if anything, maybe it will help you fall asleep at night.

Peace!
